If you stumble across an abandoned and injured dog on the streets, you will be upset. There are still a lot of dogs that have been abandoned for various reasons. However, knowing they will meet kind new owners who will support them and change their lives forever will be lovely and warm.
It’s incredibly uplifting to see good endings to rescue stories! All animals deserve a normal and happy life, and stories like this demonstrate that there are still individuals eager to care for and assist them. The next anecdote is no exception. Olive, a deserving dog, was rescued by kind people and given a new lease of life with them.
The incident occurred in January on a construction site in Hemel Hempstead, England. A good Samaritan came across an ailing puppy who was dripping wet and coated in matting and diseases.
He first took the sad canine to the RSPCA’s Southridge Animal Centre, where she was given a second chance at life. Olive was her given name.
What a pity she had to go through all that suffering! When they discovered her coat was matted and she had an eye and ear infection, they were really upset. When they tried to move her head, she’d yelp in pain.
After that, Olive was taken to the Wood Street Veterinary Hospital.
Her entire coat has to be shaved. Unfortunately, her condition was pretty terrible, with discomfort and swelling around her head and neck to the point where she couldn’t even open her eyes. She, too, had ear infections and required a lot of medications and eye drops, as well as medicated baths every two hours.
Fortunately, she regained her sight. She was fostered by a new mom, Emily Brown, who is a vet nurse. And she had a happy new life with a beautiful name, Betty.
Do you want to hear about how fantastic her new life is?
She made herself right with her new family. She was snarky and charming at the same time. She was really affectionate while yet being extremely playful. She also got along with her 15-year-old foster brother, Benji, and the rest of the family in her new home. They were her absolute favorites.
“I knew I had to get her right away. The things she must have gone through had broken her, and she appeared exhausted. “I knew she had to come home with me,” the puppy’s new mother explained.
We’re thrilled to be able to accompany Olive on her quest for a new life with a happy ending. We wish her and other pets a happy life since they deserve to be treated well.
