Neighbors build a step stool for their Great Dane so he can see his companions.
Dogs, like humans, may have a variety of friendships, and the best friendships might occasionally begin over the fence. This is the story of two dogs whose incredible bond was hampered by a fence until their neighbors decided to come up with a fantastic solution for them. The dog brothers Bambino and Vito are Great Danes, which means they are taller than most dogs. The dog brothers have no trouble keeping an eye on their neighbors’ yards because they’re tall, but when a chocolate lab moved in, they were overjoyed. However, the sweet lab wasn’t as tall as the neighbors, and he struggled to satisfy his adoring neighbors.
“He has tried repeatedly to leap up and obtain an honest whiff of his big doggy friends whenever we’re all outside,” Afton Tarin, owner of Vito and Bambino, told The Dodo.
Gieuseppe’s owner, Robert Carnes, stood behind the fence, watching his dog try so hard to figure out who his neighbors were, and joked with him, “If you just had a stool.”
They decided that the idea wasn’t that wild after all, because he had a stool set up in front of the fence for his dog to use, and the friends might be ready to meet face to face.
Afton told The Dodo, “My initial reaction was to wreck laughing.” “I couldn’t help myself when I saw his little paws completely stretched and his tail all blurred out from wagging too rapidly. “You’re so friggin’ cute.”
“It definitely gives you that feel-good feeling.”
