When an animal gives birth, it’s usually wonderful because there are few things cuter than a newborn baby animal. However, one Dalmatian mother’s massive new brood has left onlookers speechless… and making allusions to a specific Disney film.
Luna the Dalmatian was expecting a litter, so her owners in Fredericksburg, Texas, took her to the Fredericksburg Veterinary Center on June 24 for an emergency C-section.
According to KSAT, five cubs were born naturally, while a sixth was unable to emerge on its own. Brittni Turner, a veterinarian, performed the surgery and assisted Luna with the birth of her remaining offspring.
The size of the litter, however, astounded everyone – she gave birth to 16 cubs!
Turner told KSAT, “I was so concentrated on getting ready for surgery that I didn’t even check the amount of puppies.” “When they were operating on us, he would take out one puppy at a time, and we had to call all of our receptionists and workers to help clean and revive the puppies,” says the woman.
According to the veterinarian, it was the largest litter of canines born via cesarean section. “It was always said by the personnel.” ‘It’s not feasible to acquire any more, and then I’d receive two more.’ “It was total anarchy.”

The entire sequence is obviously ripped from the Disney classic 101 Dalmatians, and Turner claims the vet staff cracks a lot of jokes.
Luna actually gave birth to a child who was larger than the one depicted in the animation, despite the fact that she was not quite 101. (Pongo and Perdita gave birth to 15, the rest were adopted later.)
Keep them out of Cruella DeVil’s way.
