When Bowie was born, he was adopted and then returned to the shelter after a short period.
He didn’t, however, take up residence in the shelter. Bowie was fortunate enough to be able to stay in his temporary residence.
Nobody wanted to go looking for an unending home when the time came. What a tragedy!
Days proceeded into months, months into years, and Bowie remained unadopted after 1,250 days.
Bowie appears to be a well-trained, nice, and friendly dog. Because his adoption price had already been paid, the rescue agreed to provide Bowie’s future adopter with four free private training sessions and a professional photoshoot.
Bowie’s story was shared on social media by the shelter. The newspaper sought to catch the attention of someone who would be willing to give it a chance.
Their message was effective. People who wanted to adopt Bowie submitted almost 40 applications. They checked over each one carefully in order to find him the proper home.
They met with a lady they thought would be a good fit, and she or he adopted Bowie over the weekend!
After years in an orphanage, Bowie is finally home! What a joy!
We are very happy to understand that this sweet dog has found a home. We hope that a lot of dogs who await a family within the shelters, will have an equivalent luck.
