Tiniest Dog Rescued From Puppy Mill Is Introduced To His First Ever Friend ! — Zenoonee

This young one was nervous around people after what he had been through. Until he made a new pal his size…

No one like feeling lonely, yet that’s precisely how most of us feel when we step into a new and unfamiliar environment. Animals, too, are vulnerable, especially when transported to an unfamiliar location.

This small puppy rescued from a puppy mill has a fascinating backstory.

Ruggles, a Shih-Tzu puppy from a puppy mill, was rescued. The puppy is so little that it’s only slightly bigger than an adult’s hand. This puppy has had a difficult start in life, and you can image how afraid and nervous he is after spending so much time in such a frightening environment. Volunteers at the Cherokee County Animal Shelter took him in and cared for him.

He required a companion of his own stature.

Even a puppy as small as Ruggles needs time to adjust to a new environment. He may have felt scared or nervous seeing a whole new world outside the puppy mill at some point.

They, like other puppies and kittens, are very energetic and playful. The first time they saw each other, they had an instant connection. They were never uncomfortable in company and played with toys that were spread out on the floor.

It didn’t take them long to discard the toys and engage in spontaneous play with one another. You’d assume they’d moved on from their horrible past because they were such good friends.

They were able to live happily ever after for the rest of their lives.

They weren’t the same hapless pets from a few months before. Ruggles overcame major health issues and blossomed into a lovely dog. He was given up for adoption by a great family. He also became the Cherokee County Animal Shelter’s official ambassador.
