A Good Samaritan saw a stray dog and her puppies and phoned Hope For Paws for assistance. Eldad Hagar arrived to save her just hours after she had given birth.
Hagar quickly recognized her as a Berger Picard, the rarest dog Hope for Paws had ever recovered. They are a herding dog breed from France. Summer (as her rescuers dubbed her) quickly realized that they were there to aid her and her puppies. She stood there watching as they carefully selected each of her pups from the bushes, then emerged from the bushes when the last one was saved!
