A 6-year-old girl in the United Kingdom was playing when she came into a concrete hole in the ground.
When she chose to take a closer look inside the hole in the Waterside neighborhood of Londonderry, she discovered a dog. The dog had chipped teeth, was malnourished, and was blind when it was tossed into the hole to die among the trash and muck.
The girl then went home right away and asked her father to follow her to the hole. Before calling The Rainbow Rehoming Centre, which rehomes and rescues homeless and abandoned dogs and cats, the dog was rescued by the father, Kenny, and his daughter, Cara.
Bella was used for breeding, therefore the center’s veterinarians were aware of her blindness and the fact that she was unable to give birth to puppies. She received the love and medical attention she required.
Despite Bella’s hardships, the animal lovers discovered that she was dependable, kind, and loving. Animal lovers all across the world rapidly became enthralled by her story.
She was placed with a foster family until a permanent home could be found for her. Thankfully, in 2014, her forever family adopted her after viewing her images.
Unfortunately, she passed away peacefully in 2015 with her loving family by her side. Despite being abandoned for too long, she lived out her life in her forever home.
