Starving Dog Left To Die By Her Owners Becomes A Firefighter

When a firehouse in New York decided to take Ashley the pit bull in until her rescuers could find her a family, she was found famished and cold in an abandoned home. They adopted her three days later.

From the first wag of Ashley’s tail, the New York City Fire Department station known as Fort Pitt fell in love with her. She is a gorgeous sand-colored pit bull who has become an integral part of the crew, with her own seat on the firetruck. Ashley also has her own  Instagram  account, which you can follow to keep up with her firefighting exploits.

Ashley was saved by No More Pain, a non-profit organization based in New Jersey dedicated to saving and transferring animals that have been abandoned. The company, which is run by a four-person non-profit organization, has little resources and relies mainly on donations. You can assist them right now.

Erica Mahnken and Michael Favor, her rescuers, took her to a New York firehouse where they knew someone.

She was only intended to stay until she could find a permanent home….

However, three days after her arrival, the Fort Pitt station made the decision to adopt Ashley.

From the first tail wag, the crew was enamored with her, and she was enamored with them as well.

Ashley has her own seat on the firetruck and goes on short runs with the crew.
