Underweight Pit Bull Abandoned In An Apartment Gets Rescued, Finds A Loving Home
|We can’t ignore that evil and suffering still exist in our lovely world. Some people commit atrocities, such as abandoning dogs and leaving them to fend for themselves. Fortunately, there are so many decent people who want to make the world a better place by doing good deeds and giving joy to those who are in need. They are willing to go to any length to assist others, such as Tara, a foster care worker who took in an abused dog and nursed her back to health.
Meet Daenerys, a female pit bull who was discovered abandoned in a Phoenix . People were surprised to see what had happened to the poor dog when they discovered her. She was ill and underweight as a result of her malnutrition. She weighed just 24 pounds, despite the fact that a healthy female pit bull should weigh at least 37 pounds. She would not have survived if the rescuers hadn’t intervened just in time.
Following her escape, Daenerys was taken to Tara’s house, where she was lavished with love and support. It took her five days to gain the strength to stand on her own. She weighed 57 pounds and was gaining 1 to 2 pounds a day. She was now able to be adopted. After hearing her story, a woman named Justine adopted her. Since she only had one pet and no children, she was an ideal choice for Daenerys.
Daenerys, or Miss D as Justine calls her, is now a content puppy. She now has the caring home she deserves as a result of all that has happened. Daenerys has all the trust in the world thanks to Tara and her new owner’s love and care. She enjoys riding everywhere and at any time. Daenerys’ favorite toys are plushies, which she can’t get enough of.
“Miss D prefers to ride in the car above all else, and I take her with me almost everywhere I go. She is overjoyed to visit Lowe’s and Home Depot, where she is certain that everyone will want to pet her. Her mother said, “She is also ecstatic to be able to run around freely in open spaces.”
It’s inexcusable to let a dog starve to death. These stories never fail to make us weep with sorrow and anger. But, in the end, knowing she is happy and safe makes us feel a lot better.
