After losing their two senior pets in the span of 10 days, a man and his wife made the decision to adopt a puppy to fill the void. When they checked Facebook, they came across a picture of Mila, a three-month-old puppy, who was in desperate need of assistance.

Mila’s infection was so severe and her temperature so high that they spent more than six hours at the emergency vet that night, the woman wrote on Facebook. This made the dog’s first night of recovery quite difficult. They introduced her to Molly, their other dog, after three days of intensive antibiotic treatment, and she or he was beginning to come out of her shell.

A month later, Mila’s infections and pneumonia were gone and even her hair was also gone thanks to the treatment but she was ready to wear a T-shirt all the time. Her owner took her weekly visits to the veterinarian for her first 2 months.

Thankfully, her hair started growing back again after and a half months later. She is totally healed 6 months later and she or he is so sweet. BecauseBecause this family helped Mira and gave her another chance in life.
