Senior Dog Overjoyed to Get Puppy Surprise

Cash, a 12-year-old Golden Retriever, must have been on Santa’s good list this year, since he received an extra special Christmas present: a gorgeous puppy!

After owner Marie Ahonen’s other dog, Rosie, died abruptly three years ago, Cash has been a touch lonely during the last few years.

But Cash’s loss didn’t stop him from being the excellent child he’d always been, so Marie planned a special surprise for him.

The moment the puppy gently carried the box inside the room was captured on film by the family. Cash senses something is wrong and starts enthusiastically circling the box, which opens seconds later to show a lovely puppy inside!

Cash uses his nose to sniff his new pal, and the two seem to click right away. Cash’s joy is contagious, and his tail won’t stop wagging!
