Man Rescues Old Dog From Freeway, But His Wife Tells Him They Can’t Keep It

Life was unjust and tragic for a dog named Fae. But her life was about to take a turn for the better when she was discovered in the middle of a busy expressway.

A man saw the senior Chihuahua and pulled over to help her, but she would have to take another detour before finding her forever home.

The 10-year-old Chihuahua didn’t deserve to go through what she did. Nobody knew how long she’d been on the road, but she’d been abandoned for sure. Fortunately, this Good Samaritan happened to be in the right location at the right time to assist her on that particular day. He loaded her into his car and drove away.

The man desperately wanted to keep Fae, but his wife insisted they couldn’t. As a result, he had no choice except to take the aging canine to Animal Services in Baldwin Park. He didn’t want to do this to a dog who had already gone through so much, but there was nothing more he could do.

However, another man was preparing to get a puppy for his 50th birthday, as fate would have it. When he spotted Fae, he knew he had to have her! The old lady wasn’t in the best of health, but he felt he could offer her with the ideal home and life.

That last picture says it all. Fae was so happy to have love in her life, so she thanked her new dad for the second chance.

Not many people want to adopt a senior dog near the end of its life, but this guy didn’t see it that way at all! He’d make Fae’s remaining years the best ones yet and show her the life she truly deserved.
