Golden Retriever Saved Mans Life Who Broke Neck And Left To Freeze To Death

Meet Kelsey, a golden retriever who exemplifies why dogs are our true best companions.

Bob from Michigan, his human, tripped on ice and shattered his neck just outside his house one day.
“I was yelling for aid, but my closest neighbor was a quarter-mile away, and it was 10:30 p.m.”

Bob appeared to be in a pickle, but happily for him, he was accompanied by his furry guardian angel, “but then my Kelsey came and saved me.” My voice was gone by dawn, and I couldn’t yell for aid, but Kelsey kept barking.”

Bob was just dressed in his long johns, slippers, and a shirt on a bitterly cold winter night, since he only intended to leave his house to get a log for his fireplace.

Instead, it evolved into a 20-hour experience that left Bob paralyzed in the snow. He would have died of frostbite if it hadn’t been for his furry pal.

“She kept barking for aid, but she never left my side,” Bob explained. She kept me warm and awake at all times. I knew I had to fight through this and that being alive was a choice I had to make.”

In the 19th hour, Bob, unfortunately, lost consciousness, but Kelsey didn’t give up just yet!

“She was letting out this screeching howl that alerted my neighbor. He found me at 6:30 p.m..”

Finally, once his neighbor discovered him, he was sent to the nearest hospital for emergency surgery.

He is now completely recovered and credits Kelsey for saving his life.
