This Dog Jumped Into The Lake To Save A Drowning Cat When No One Else Did

We all need assistance from time to time, and in this case, the assistance for this poor kitty came from a dog, not the people who filmed the video, which has since gone viral.

This black and white kitty somehow wound up in a lake and was about to drown. Despite this, no one stepped forward to help the helpless cat. We can only image how exhausted and terrified this frenzied cat must have felt as it tired of paddling.

That day, though, this lucky cat met an unusual savior. This dog had apparently had enough of seeing the cat suffer and leaped into the freezing water to save the kitten!

The exhausted feline promptly climbed onto the dog’s back after the dog swam out to her. The kitten clung to the pup’s back with his claws and rode back to shore like a dolphin.

It wasn’t a dolphin, though; it was a cute doggo. The grateful cat splashily disembarks the puppies and dashes for the grass growing along the shore once they reach the water’s edge.

Even though we can’t hear any meows in the video, we’re sure the kitty was grateful to be saved. The entire rescue takes less than 15 seconds thanks to the fast thinking pooch, which was maybe 15 seconds too long for this cat.

This dog deserves a pat on the back for a job well done. What a great illustration of how we can make a difference in the lives of living creatures when we take the time to assist them when they are in need.
