Friendship Between Man And 40-Year-Old Horse Saves Both Their Lives

Don’t be deceived by their macho persona. Waco, a former harness racing horse, and Donnie MacAdams, his caregiver, are in love. Waco is currently residing on a farm in Vermont’s Green Mountains. He was an average race horse, but his age is anything but typical: he’s 40 years old (about 120 in human years). When he met Donnie, he wasn’t lonely, and despite Donnie’s surprise, the two created a strong bond, one that would help Donnie get over his heart attack.
