AFTER BEING DUMPED & LEFT FOR DEAD ON CHRISTMAS, “MIRACLE” DOG IS ADOPTED BY OFFICER WHO SAVED HER LIFE

THESE DAYS, MIRACLES ARE HARD TO COME BY.
BUT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO DESCRIBE THE ABANDONED PUPPY WHO NEARLY DIED ON CHRISTMAS DAY AFTER BEING ABANDONED IN A DUMPSTER.
WSBTV reports that someone heard the tiny dog’s cries for help and called the cops. OFFICERS ARRIVED TO FIND A COLD, HUNGRY DOG WRAPPED IN A RUBBISH BAG AND THROWN AWAY LIKE GARBAGE. THE DOG WAS TAKEN TO AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN ATLANTA, BUT SHE WAS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE THAT NO ONE KNEW IF SHE WAS GOING TO LIVE.

“SHE WAS FROZEN ALMOST SOLID AND DOC THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PUT HER DOWN THREE TIMES,” PENNY JENKINS, A MANAGER AT ATLANTA WEST VETERINARY HOSPITAL, SAID. “BUT SHE KEEP FIGHTING, AND WE KEEP FIGHTING,” JENKINS SAID, WHICH COLLEAGUES DECIDED TO CALL THE RESCUED DOG MIRACLE.

The abandoned puppy is not only growing stronger by the day, but she has already been adopted by the officer who saved her life.

The veterinarian team wrote on Facebook, “Miracle went to her new fur-ever home yesterday with the officer who found her!!!”

“She’s doing great, and we’ll pay her a visit tomorrow for a check-up to make sure everything in her tiny body is in working order.”
