Dog With Broken Leg Senses The Woman Is Here To Help, So He Leaps Into Her Arms

A woman was driving down a quiet country road when she noticed movement in the thorny overgrowth alongside the road. She continued her investigation and soon discovered an injured dog limping in the thickets. Despite his agonizing wounds, the wounded, lonely dog was overjoyed to see her and leapt over the overgrowth into the woman’s arms.

The puppy, later called Vlad, appeared to be dangerously emaciated and in dire need of assistance. He knew the woman was his only hope of survival, so he hugged her and jumped into her car, filled with renewed hope. He was so hungry that he tried to eat an entire bag of tissues in the car.

The rescue organization “Howl Of A Dog” was entrusted with Vlad. His initial vet examination revealed he had double leg fractures, likely as a result of a hit-and-run. Since the injuries were at least a week old, they had deteriorated, which meant Vlad had been starving and suffering alone for that long.

Vlad needed emergency surgery to correct his limb problems. His recovery was difficult, but the shelter staff encouraged him and gave him the strength to persevere despite the pain and discomfort until he was fully recovered. He regained full function of his injured leg with more exercise and blossomed into a brilliant handsome baby!

Vlad has finally found his forever home with a family in Phoenix, Arizona, where he lives like a prince! Curt, his new father, has called him “Buddy,” which suits the pooch’s friendly and loyal personality perfectly. Buddy, you’ve got a wonderful life ahead of you – just don’t forget to smile!
