Puppy Abandoned Outside Supermarket Can’t Hide Her Happiness As Someone Came To Take Her Home

It breaks my heart to think about cats and dogs that have been abandoned by their owners. But, luckily, many people and rescuers are still eager to assist them in finding a forever home or a suitable shelter.

Animal lovers all over the world were recently ecstatic after seeing a video of an abandoned puppy being saved and given a second chance at life. Takis Shelter, a non-profit animal rescue group in Greece, shared the video.

A white puppy can be seen sitting in a bare cardboard box outside a supermarket in the video. According to the shelter, someone left this poor dog here in the hopes that shoppers would support her and maybe adopt her. Unfortunately, no one seemed to notice her.

The shelter states that since there are so many abandoned animals on the streets in Greece, people are used to seeing and hearing them. It’s unsurprising that they often walk right by these poor creatures, not even giving them a second glance.

Takis, the founder of Takis Shelter, jumped in to rescue the dog, which was a blessing. He called the little puppy Maisie and took her home with him. Despite the fact that she had been abandoned, she was polite and nice. She was overjoyed to make new friends and play with them at the shelter, especially a dog named Ozzy.

Her life at the shelter is pleasant, but she always needs someone to look after her. Maisie found her forever home in less time than Takis had anticipated. She was adopted by a lovely couple who live on a farm in Crete. She has a lot of brothers and sisters in her new home.

Thank you to Takis Shelter and the wonderful couple who rescued and adopted the puppy. We are relieved to learn that Maisie is now living the happy life she deserves. She’ll never weep alone like she did when she was left outside the store.
