Exhausted Shelter Dog Falls Asleep On Her Rescuer’s Lap After Being Rescued

This is what a typical shelter dog does when it realizes it has been saved.

This story is about a poor dog who had spent her entire existence in a concrete kennel at a public shelter. She was never given any affection or attention, and she was never taken for a walk.

Fortunately, several Howl Of A Dog rescuers were able to get her out of the shelter and take her to the vet for the medical attention she required. Despite what had happened with her, Bella, the dog, was still very friendly and trusting of humans.

Once they were on their way to the veterinary facility, she fell asleep in her rescuer’s arms. I believe she sensed she was in good hands. When Bella arrived at the clinic, she or he was treated for fleas and given a much-needed bath. She was also given a variety of foods to help her gain weight, as well as supplements to help her liver and spleen.

Bella’s fleas are now all gone as she has received vaccinations for them. She is now very happy and playful and starts gaining weight. She features a clean beautiful fur and she or he looks healthier. She’ll be ready for adoption once she is totally recovered.
