Rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited came on the scene to save a stray dog in distress. The little lady had been looked after and fed by a neighbor whenever possible, but now her leg was swelled and she couldn’t stand. She had a wound on her forehead as well.
They took her back to the animal hospital for a closer examination, and she was given pain medication. The dog was a little unsure about everything and terrified, but they did their best to persuade her that everything would be fine. In fact, people’s lives would immediately improve!
Her fractured leg was splinted, and plenty of rest was next on the agenda. Her mood improved as she felt better and the pain lessened, but she still had some anxiety in those big dark eyes. There used to be only one thing to do; now look at little Suzie!
