Man Rescues Pit Bull Nailed To Train Tracks And Gives Him A New Chance At A Happy Life

Hudson, the lovely pit bull in the video below, has had a difficult existence. Someone abandoned him and his brothers on a railroad track when he was only three weeks old.
Hudson would have died out there, malnourished and too young to care for himself, if it hadn’t been for a railroad worker who discovered him and removed him from the tracks before it was too late.

Despite this, Hudson and his sisters were all in bad shape. One of Hudson’s sisters, regrettably, died shortly after being rescued. Hudson and his surviving siblings began a long road to recovery.

Because of the amount of time they spent on the rails, the puppies’ paws were wound-riddled. One puppy had just three paws, another had two toes missing, and a third had a large hole in one of his paws, and the physicians in charge of treating their injuries were quite reticent.

All of the puppies, though, showed a fighting spirit. Hudson was transferred to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where he had emergency surgery that saved his life. He lost one of his paws in the operation, but he was given a second opportunity at a happy life. And now have a peek at Hudson!
