Wild Horse Thanks Man Who Freed His Legs From Chains

Chains are commonly used to link the front or hind legs of horses in several parts of Romania. This prevents them from fleeing. Our FOUR PAWS vet Ovidiu discovered a horse in Letea (Danube delta). He immediately stepped in to assist in the horse’s rescue from his torturous bonds. As soon as Ovidiu has liberated the horse, it nuzzles him gratefully before galloping away.

The horse is a wild Hucul-breed horse that lives in the Danube delta forest in Letea, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Europe’s second largest wetland.
