Photographer Spotted An Emaciated Dog On A Remote Island And Saved His Life

Pick up your handkerchief, because this story will make you cry. A photographer named Wesley White is on a business trip to Belize, so he is very happy to explore this beautiful island and take some photos. You have very little free time and are looking forward to a wonderful trip.

On the first day of the trip, he decided to kayak to a small island on a thatched island. When he got to the island, he noticed a hungry dog entering an abandoned fishing shed. The poor dog is skinny, but very nice. “Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him wagging his tail,” Wesley told Dodo

Wesley called for someone, but no one was fishing. He didn’t expect that the dog could last another day, and he needed to rescue the dog in time. So he put the dog on the kayak and returned to the hotel. If he doesn’t do anything to help, the dog will starve to death.

As soon as he arrived at the hotel, he called for help. Thankfully, everyone pitched in to help, gave the dog food and took him to a vet. Sadly, Wesley just stayed with the dog for a very short time because he only had 36 hours until he was to leave Belize.

The veterinarian kept in touch with Wesley to let him know that the dog was recovering and was about to move into a foster home. After two months in a foster family, the dog could have flown to Dallas to meet Wesley.

The dog has a new name Winston and he is now happy in Wesley’s home with his owner and his friends. Watch how destiny brought Wesley and the starving puppy together and their reunion after a long journey in the heartwarming video below.
