A retired racehorse gives a man the ride of his life.

The horse can be taken out of the race, but not the race taken out of the horse.

Nick Bull discovered this the hard way when he took Shamrock, a former racehorse, out for a “gentle trot.” Shamrock had different plans.

Nick uploaded his video to YouTube after Shamrock took him on “the ride of my life.” Shamrock may be heard shouting “Whoa!” several times, but he appears to be enjoying his run!

Nick has rode Shamrock previously, but never at the speed demonstrated here. He goes on to explain, “On this day, he forgot he was retired, or that I’m not that experienced a rider…” It’s fine to laugh; Nick and Shamrock are both fine!
