Nobody Wanted To Adopt Bonded Dogs Together, But One Photo Caught People’s Eye

Buster, a Boxer, and Little Miss, a Chihuahua, were two bonded canines who were struggling on the streets of Arizona. When the rescuers arrived, the malnourished homeless couple was urgently clutching to each other. They refused to let go of each other even after being taken to a shelter!

Little Miss and Buster needed each other’s company to survive, according to the employees at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. They also realized that the chances of two canines being adopted together were limited. That’s when they decided to use social media to reach out to the local community.

Little Miss was seen lovingly perched on Buster’s back while the two posed for the camera in a series of photos shared on the shelter’s social media. The shelter had hoped that someone would fall in love with the two closest friends, but they had no idea their story would become viral!

Due to an influx of adoption applications, the shelter eventually chose Buster and Little Miss’ future parents through a random drawing. The two have called themselves Charlie and Libby, and they now have another doggie brother to play with! We are overjoyed that they now have a home together!
