Dog who fell off shrimp boat found alive days later after swimming six miles to shore
When a dog fell off a shrimp boat, it swam six kilometers to shore before being found alive.
A shrimp boat captain from San Leon, Texas named Keith “Kiwi” Soffes likes his dog Monster, who goes with him on his daily excursions out to sea.
A recent adventure, nevertheless, was tragically cut short when Monster went overboard. The dog disappeared without a trace despite the fact that she was accustomed to being on the water because she had been traveling with Keith since she was a puppy and that it was a peaceful day.
Keith looked everywhere, hoping to find her, but quickly became concerned. Keith remarked, “I lost the one thing in this world that I actually loved.” “I’m completely heartbroken.”
Keith published the tale on social media, hoping Monster might appear somewhere. People online sent him a lot of love and prayers.

Monster was discovered days after reaching the coast. Keith was taken aback after hearing her story.
Monster survived by swimming five to six kilometers across Galveston Bay to land.
“I said to myself, ‘Man, she couldn’t have done that swim,'” he told FOX 26. “There’s no way that dog could have swum that far.”
Keith and Monster were happy to be reunited after many agonizing days apart.
“I couldn’t even talk because I was weeping so hard,” Keith explained. “She was smothering me with kisses.”
